Iya London Walks is run by Joanna Oyediran, a qualified Open City guide specialising in unearthing London's overlooked stories. Her upcoming Hammersmith Radicals, a Riverside Walk explores the artistic and activist past of Hammersmith Riverside, a beautiful stretch of the Thames right on Chiswick's doorstep. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, the area was home to radicals who challenged the exploitation of the working classes and women through art, design and socialism. You'll see sites where William Morris and other creative figures associated with the Arts and Crafts Movement lived and worked, and hear about the birth of the private press movement. The 25 April walk has sold out, but a further date is scheduled for 31 May. Booking essential, meet at Ravenscourt Park Station. Book via Eventbrite
